Experience is a cruel teacher, gives the exam first and then the lesson.
So here in the Phoenix metro area, where Biden is supposedly leading, we are getting Trump parades every weekend for the last month or so. They have grown to thousands of cars that stretch for miles.

No dude is going to get shot in the chest at 300 yards and look down and say "What is that, a 3 MOA group?"
Can someone please enlighten me as to what exactly Biden would have done in response to COVID? I mean seriously, WTF would he have done differently?
This talking point kind of reminds me of the criticism GW Bush took for Katrina. Like W or not, WTF was he supposed to do about a Cat-5 hurricane? He had shit pre-positioned and once it blew over they moved in. So how exactly was Trump supposed to respond to a pandemic we haven't experienced for a century?
I am once again having confirmed for me just how fvcking STUPID the American electorate is since apparently they give Biden higher marks on this subject.

I am no Biden voter, but just about anyone above a sea slug could have improved on the Trump response to COVID. Trump effectively made the wrong decision at every point on the response side but I think he did okay on the economic aspect. Unfortunately the excess death toll is what is driving some of the US electorate this year.
1) His one proactive decision was to ban Chinese travel, but that was no less than three months late (COVID likely arrived in NYC around Thanksgiving), so it was cheesy posturing for the cameras
2) He never had a decent National Security Advisor and he also eliminated the Homeland Security Advisor role, which created the absolutely predictable chaos in a pandemic
3) John Bolton, a terrible NSC pick, eliminated the pandemic planning function at NSC, which meant a huge amount of ongoing liaison work had to be recreated in Jan-Mar 2020
4) The National Security Council was poorly led and handicapped by jackassed comments like “it is just like the flu” when they needed to be balls to the wall coordinated (trust me, I was there... Feds were afraid to act in January-February)
5) When the back to the wall and there was a huge lack of PPE globally, the Trumpian answer was to double down and create a bidding war... To the benefit of China, in their airlift plan (amateur hour)
The Wall Street Journal has a a series of paywalled articles that excoriate the Trump Administration for the COVID crisis response. The WSJ is highly supportive of the Administration in the Editorial pages and is the unofficial mouthpiece. They couldn’t bring themselves to ignore the stumblefvck response. Trump had his wartime President role - and utterly failed to sense the mood of the American people.
Nonsense...name one corner of the earth that has stopped & controlled C19 like it was pink eye & why isn't it being duplicated for the success??
The virus is doing what viruses do...the RGV has the same exact situation with over flowing hospitals back during the swine flu, it simply wasn't politicized or traced with bogus BS numbers. If you followed the flu & labeled every death to the same comorbidities vs death by 100% flu??
C'mon man!!

Okay, I again ask "what would have been better"?
If you recall Trump was labeled as xenophobic for banning travel to China, by the same Democrats screaming now. He also supported the initial shutdown of a couple weeks in, what, March or April? He then realized that it was economic suicide. I might also reference the Biden quote I've seen about shutting it all down again. Of course at that point one has to wonder if it is really an over-abundance of caution or a deliberate attempt to kill our economy and make people beg for .gov to save them, ushering in socialism sooner rather than later.
Trump also invoked the Defense Production Act to ensure vital stuff was made promptly despite the private sector dragging it's feet. That is rather un-Republican, wouldn't you say?
As far as his cabinet picks, that has plagued his administration from the start. Those NSC/NSA picks can hardly be blamed for some perceived "tepid" response.
The "bidding war" over PPE? Trump's PRIMARY responsibility is for this country and no one else. I would make no apologies for it if I was him.
It is human nature to second-guess shit. It is a Democrat specialty.
I would still like to hear what Biden would do differently, and even more important, more effectively.

New Zealand. A tiny and incredibly remote island country with a ton of very rich absentee landowners and compliant subjects.
Hawaii has done very well on the Covid front, also a tiny remote island with a ton of rich absentee landowners and compliant citizens.
Not sure how Trump would have known to halt China travel in Thanksgiving. Crystal ball?
