It's coming, be patient...it took over a month to settle the hanging chad fiasco in 2020. People forget the msm also called Gore President Elect during that time.

I mean, it's been pretty clear this is the ONE holiday they've been trying to kill off for years now (for the 'usual reasons'), but pulling this shit *now*... after a year of everyone being lonely, miserable, and isolated? And they whine about people being 'tone deaf' when it concerns their pet issues...
Well, who knows what will happen, but one hopes such tone-deaf asshattery backfires spectacularly.

No, we don't say 'equality' any more, it's "equity" now. Come on, man. Keep up with your goodthink terminology.
Yeah... all those statues they've been tearing down DID matter, and we let them have it all without so much as a scuffle. It wasn't just about the metal they were made of...
And that's just one 'big news' issue of the many churning on day after day behind the scenes while most people just want to pretend it's all kumbaya, or actively shout you down just as much as the leftists for stating the increasingly obvious.
As Roy put it, "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe..."

Anyway, back on the topic of the threatening of the Repub rep...
    1) What a bitch tier response. I'm so glad we have such stalwart people upholding this country.
    2) This is where you are at as a country. How much more obvious does it need to get?
JFC, they haven't even truly applied the thumbscrews of state power yet; it's a bunch of self-righteous assholes doxxing people on the internet, and most people are already rolling belly-up in fear and haste to comply. Such individualistic. Much America. Wow.

I remember back in January when it looked like things might get spicy in VA over the 2A stuff, I was on another forum. Of course there was a big thread there, like everywhere else, about "what to do".
Someone shared a 'solution' post by a blogger. In it, the writer made much ado over how they and the organizations they work with have been consistently screwed over by local governments and the courts for the past twenty years of their 2A advocacy, and how such unending screwovers have pretty much stymied any efforts to progress or effectively preserve the 2A.
The writer than closed the post with a call for everyone to chill out and not get froggy about anything; that the 'correct' way to handle any impending infringements was to wait and fight it in court.
It was such a perfect 'boomer' moment I couldn't help but laugh...

And yet it's the same theory and the same mindset I see everywhere on this side of politics, for all issues.
That whole January event and the associated rally was probably the most blatant effort I've seen for our side to fearmonger and propagandize and echo-chamber and self-justify ourselves out of taking any action, and looking back, I am embarrassed to see that I fell for a lot of it myself.
We're all proud of ourselves for getting 70,000 or so people out to demonstrate; which is still great... but imagine how many people it could have been if they hadn't been self-cowed into inaction. It wasn't the government that stopped them from showing up, it was their own fear, and the MSM merely piggybacked on that *just enough* for people to sell it to themselves.
Now look at the recent 'million MAGA' march in DC... not sure if they got to a million.... but imagine how many MORE would have been there to demonstrate if we weren't busy alternatively pissing our pants and mocking anyone who dares life a finger in response to the madness.
Before things go hot, one needs to demonstrate a "will of the people" for or against an ideal. They have done this; we have not.
While we talk about the 'silent majority' I think all to often forget WE ARE the silent majority who is doing nothing.

And no, I don't care about what this election *may* turn out to be or how many votes people *say* Trump got over Biden. It does not matter; THIS is the point the country is at, where they've done enough to con people into believing the mass will of 'the people' is with them, so now they can just walk away with a national election if they want.
It's not a Democrat or Communist or Antifa or [insert your favorite Red faction here] problem - it's an "us" problem.

You aren't wrong. A few people I've talked to recently get bent out of shape the moment you mention doing anything other than voting. I'm not even talking about violence, but simply showing up on a Saturday to rally with others. It's the same old excuses as always.

"I don't have time for that"

"I'm not showing up to hang around a bunch of idiots"

    "It ain't gonna change nothin'"

    Etc..

They'll wish they'd have at least tried when the left secures the little bit they haven't gained control of and we're all forced to eat our pets Venezuela style.

The worst thing is, I've seen people say in one sentence that our election was stolen.. then in the very next sentence mention how big we're gonna win in 2022.

    The cognitive dissonance is astounding.

Yup, too many "summer soldiers and sunshine patriots" on our side, too busy with their CONSOOMin' to do anything. As I say way too often, "everybody wants to be a Washington, nobody's willing to risk being a Hale or Attucks."

This. Once an election's successfully stolen, that's de facto the last election for that country.

I don't know what in the hell of any significance this has but my gut tells me it's 'something'...Dept of Defense tweet 1 hour ago.

    Drive on.
The real issue was the media and especially social media companies support of the dems and the demonization and gas lighting of conservatives. From blaming Trump for all the COVID deaths, to all the other anonymously sourced hits against him over the years that didn't pan out, to the claims that the Post Office was part of a right wing conspiracy about disenfranchisement and stifling the vote.

That was really how the election was 'stolen'. To say that you care about Russian interference in 2016, but turn a blind eye to coordinated and widespread attacks on Trump is literally crazy.

Frankly, I'm going cold turkey on the media. DailyWire is good enough for info when you understand their point of view.

Main Stream Media is really FAILED media.

They claimed that they were not biased when there were three of them and they controlled what was reported. When they lost control on what could be reported out to people, they dropped the faux cloak of non-bias and started to try to silence the right reporting of material. The genie is out of the bottle, we have to keep it free.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.
