I think it started innocently enough, but Cuomo can't buy the kind of publicity he's been receiving from his daily conferences. Having said that to say this, I don't think he planned on it being broadcast nationally in the beginning. However, he has become somewhat of a foil to Trump in a media that loves to attempt to drive spikes into Trump's heart any time they can. I bet they were dismayed when Cuomo and Trump made nice after their first spat and worked together.

Regardless, I think they have to go to a brokered convention in order to get him into position. I'd bet the DNC leadership is reeling from throwing their support behind Biden on Super Tuesday since he's turned out to be even more of a blathering idiot than we thought. Along with possible mental issues.

If this is to happen, I'd be willing to bet the allegations of sexual assault against Biden quietly get prompted back in the news which allows the DNC to move past him.

I've heard a little of what Cuomo has been saying. I thought it was a bit of a selfish rant yesterday that he thought the Feds should send him all the ventilators they have in stock and pretty much ignore the rest of the country's needs. Thought it was kinda funny that his backdrop include boxes and boxes of masks and other things that are suppose to be in short supply. There again, that is all just for show and to pump his credentials up. I tend to believe the outbreak is really just beginning to start and that things will get worse. We all have been exposed to it on one level or another by this point. But, I turn him and other nanny state politicians off as I am sick and tire of hearing their BS. My honest opinion is that these dems in politics really don't care about people. They use them as front pieces to get their agendas in place. Like you said, once they find someone who they want to replace Biden, they will bring up his past sins and persecute him. He'll be so far gone mentally that he probably won't even understand though. And once all that is accomplished, they will throw the others to the side and start going after each other. It's just he same old stuff but a different day with them.

Does Cuomo even understand that he's the Governor and that part of his job title means he plans for emergency situations to include having necessary supplies on hand?

We briefly discussed this in the COVID thread, but I don't think he's the Lone Ranger in that scenario. Frankly, I don't think any local, State or the Federal side was prepared for this.

Have not read all 27 pages.

The fact that Biden has not dropped out or been withdrawn really has me puzzled. Obviously I am not a fan of his; Joe Biden at his very best would be a terrible president but he is so clearly incapable and getting worse each day, the fact that he's still in the running makes me wonder if the Dems want him so he can be a puppet for them. By then the poor guy would be very malleable but they would have to really work at keeping him out of the spotlight because at this point he is at best marginally coherent. November....? November 2021? I don't think there's a good prognosis. Sometimes he comes out of the gate OK but then fizzles. Not a conspracy theorist but it's like he's one some super awareness enhancer but it is short-acting.

Which brings me to the whole Democratic machine and how they will do anything.... decency is no imp[ediment to them. I cannot grasp the reason but they are supporting him for some reason other than "he's a great candidate" and I think they are using him, and in doing so they are stripping him of his very human dignity. Again I'm as far from being a Biden defender as a person can be, and you may say "he has no dignity" but he's human and does not deserve this any more than if they put a robot in his skin and Pelosi and Shumer had the remote control. If I'm right, hopefully it is uncovered and the monsterous behavior is put out for all to see.

If someone did to any of my grandparents what's being done to Biden... well, it's not anything for posting on a site like this and I'll just leave it at that. The man needs round the clock, competent professional care that only a nursing home can give.

Just saw him again. The wife said "it's elder abuse" and it really is. It's a friggin' travesty to do that to a person. It's like kids being mean to an impaired kid.

The best bet is to treat Joe with the same compassion and care you treat an elderly loved one who has lost their grip. Voters will see how that person is incapable of leading our Government. If people get mean and mock him there is a chance for that to backfire on Trump.

The Biden’s campaign *really* needs to throw in the towel for sleepy, airhead Joe, as his mental faculties can clearly be seen diminishing by the day. Once the cameras start rolling Joe’s bad day and comedy act begins.
