No matter who the DNC says won Iowa all the candidates will claim victory because they will all say they were “cheated”.

It's Trump's fault. If he hadn't been so mean, and successful, and Russian, and orange, then creepy Joe would have gotten his just reward and Biden would win with 113% of the vote.

First major primary caucus and it's a complete and utter circus.

Funny thing is, Nevada is supposed to use the same system in a couple of months.

Iowa is a huge time and resource sucker for these candidates. Years of planning, millions of people's dollars, all kinds of time spent in diners and county fairs-

    and all for basically nothing.

Running an Iowa campaign can be the pinnicle of someones political career, and the DNC has made it all basically worthless. That has to be soul crushing for the staff and volunteers.

    Ha, ha.

You screwed up. You thought the DNC would run a competent race! What evidence do you have that they could pull that off????

NV has said that they would use a different piece of software.

Why does it seem that this could have been pulled off with a Commodore 64, a 2400 baud modem, a cassette tape drive and simple Calc Result spreadsheet. Some algebra and if-then statements for lucifers sake.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

    Uh oh...

Democratic National Committee Chair Tom Perez called for a recanvass of all results in Iowa on Thursday, as the state's Democratic Party continues to struggle to verify the data from Monday night's caucuses.

The move is a significant step and raises further questions about how long the results of the key Iowa caucuses will remain outstanding. In a recanvass, all the numbers that were released by the state party would be checked against the results that were recorded at caucus sites.

"Enough is enough," Perez tweeted. "In light of the problems that have emerged in the implementation of the delegate selection plan and in order to assure public confidence in the results, I am calling on the Iowa Democratic Party to immediately begin a recanvass."

Trump was elected like this. No one in the party wanted Trump. But he had enough people that wanted him elected and hate for Hilldog was high enough he one. Parties need to stop worrying about "electable" and about what the people want.

I don't think they want Sanders or Buttigieg to win there.

As another poster stated, if the people are not smart enough to read the fine print, I'm not sure I want their guy/gal. I mean, Bernie is good on off the cuff remarks, very affable and a good speaker. When he gets to policy, that's where it gets tricky. He's got all kinds of promises that would sound great to the less informed. Even I would buy in if I didn't know better.

    "Hey, want some free stuff?"

    "What's the catch?"

"No catch, it's free because you deserve it!"

"Wow, cool. Okay, what kind of free stuff?"

"Medical benefits, college education, we'll get rid of your student loans...a whole bunch of free stuff!"

"That sounds great, but how are we going to pay for it?"

"We'll make those evil rich people pay. They made their money from your work and sweat anyway."

"Yeah, sounds good. But what defines rich?"

"Meh, details, don't worry about it..."

Problem is, even by taxing every "rich" person, his plans still aren't affordable. So, easiest solution? Lower the threshold on what is considered "rich." Suddenly those that make $100K per year are considered "rich" and start having to pay for others. Then it drops to $75K or maybe even $50K. That's how communism/socialism works. Eventually level the playing field to where everyone gets screwed and nobody is happy. And I'm not even going to get into the corporate tax rate hikes we'd probably see.

I support your choice to pick a candidate, but I'm not sure Bernie is the one you want.

In 2016 I had all the fears that a lot of people did about Trump. I remember when he announced his candidacy my wife and I looked at each other and guffawed. "How sweet would it be if that asshole beat Hillary?" I asked. When it became obvious that he was gonna be the guy I couldn't believe it, but the flaming out of the other Repubs (was a Rand guy) was decisive. I felt better when I read that the Federalist Society or something like that was advising him on judicial appointments, but I knew he couldn't win.
When he did win it was unbelievable, and just as sweet as I thought it would be. The guy is a jerk, no conservative, and maybe he is demented, but he has more than justified my vote. Criminal? They can't prove it yet and if so, no more than any other asshole we have elected before. He has a superpower that exposes previously respected people in the media-political complex as complete lunatics. My wife who refused to vote for him (or at all), will do so this time she says.
Will the NFA be repealed? No. Will we be disappointed with some things? Yes. Bankrupted? Maybe.
But if Hillary comes in at the last moment to save the day, and gets defeated again, that will be super terrific.
I'm not a Trump true-believer but cannot see how someone who believes in individual freedom can vote for any of the Democrats over Trump.
