If everyone is owned by the CIA then it doesn't matter. Vote Trump, vote Hillary, vote.... whomever... They're all CIA. Its like picking which Walmart employee you're going to ask for a price check! Why would the CIA care which CIA is in office?

For the same reason writers and directors care which bozo stars in their film. If they cast the wrong windbag people stop watching, which would have some very serious implications.

I can't roll my eyes hard enough!

If they control everything it doesn't matter whos watching or who's participating.

Why didn't they cover up all of Clinton's crimes? I think probably the main reason is the more you try to stifle something the louder people will scream about it. So just use it as the basis of your own parallel narrative, muddy the waters, give people intrigue to argue about and keep them glued to the news cycle. People just want to be entertained, so if you give them something juicy to talk about they won't really care about the truth. Matter of fact, I think most people prefer the lie, even when confronted with the obvious facts. This thread proves that.

They control everything because they do care who's watching.

Look at North Korea. That is the most completely totalitarian society on the planet, and yet they are also the most pretentious government on the planet. The theater is critical to maintaining their control. The more control you have, the more important your political theater becomes. If they suddenly lost the ability to keep their people captivated by their political theater they would lose control of the country in a matter of days.

Why do you think Kim's generals keep him around? Why do you think they kept his father around? They're complete self indulgent morons, but they're the stars of the political theater that North Korea has spun for itself in the last 75 years.

Although after this whole covid thing I'm not so sure there's a clear distinction to be made anymore...

Joint Chiefs Memorandum To the Joint Force Attached

    Attachment 64858

The American people have trusted the Armed Forces of the United States to protect them and our Constitution for almost 250 years. As we have done throughout our history, the U.S. military will obey lawful orders from civilian leadership, support civil authorities to protect lives and property, ensure public safely in accordance with the law, and remain fully committed to protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

The violent riot in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021 was a direct assault on the U.S. Congress, the Capitol building, and our Constitutional process. We mourn the deaths of the two Capitol policemen and others connected to these unprecedented events.

We witnessed actions inside the Capitol building that were inconsistent with the rule of law. The rights of freedom of speech and assembly do not give anyone the right to resort to violence, sedition and insurrection.

As Service Members, we must embody the values and ideals of the Nation. We support and defend the Constitution. Any act to disrupt the Constitutional process is not only against our traditions, values, and oath; it is against the law.

On January 20, 2021, in accordance with the Constitution, confirmed by the states and the courts, and certified by Congress, President-elect Biden will be inaugurated and will become our 46th Commander in Chief.

To our men and women deployed and at home, safeguarding our country — stay ready, keep your eyes on the horizon, and remain focused on the mission. We honor your continued service in defense of every American.

    Signed: The Joint Chiefs.

    Well, there's that.

So why aren't they marching on Pelosi's office over her asking Milley to do exactly that?
