This version of the Democratic Party have devolved to the point where even Rodney Dangerfield would feel sorry for them and remember he got no respect.
Rather than learn from this they will retreat back to the House of Representatives and restart the investigation, which only digs the whole deeper.
That the Democrats are now likely to put a full on Socialist against Trump in 2020 only shows how repugnant and insulated from the voters they have become.
We are watching them self destruct.

When it became obvious that he was gonna be the guy I couldn't believe it, but the flaming out of the other Repubs (was a Rand guy) was decisive. I felt better when I read that the Federalist Society or something like that was advising him on judicial appointments, but I knew he couldn't win.
When he did win it was unbelievable, and just as sweet as I thought it would be. The guy is a jerk, no conservative, and maybe he is demented, but he has more than justified my vote. Criminal? They can't prove it yet and if so, no more than any other asshole we have elected before. He has a superpower that exposes previously respected people in the media-political complex as complete lunatics. My wife who refused to vote for him (or at all), will do so this time she says.
Will the NFA be repealed? No. Will we be disappointed with some things? Yes. Bankrupted? Maybe.
But if Hillary comes in at the last moment to save the day, and gets defeated again, that will be super terrific.
I'm not a Trump true-believer but cannot see how someone who believes in individual freedom can vote for any of the Democrats over Trump.
I liked Rand, but was a Rubio guy myself. Rand's problem wasn't his ideas, he just had no idea how to sell them. Good ideas across the board, but in the debates, he had a hard time verbalizing what he wanted to do and why it was a good thing.

I was and am a Paul fan. His foreign policy is a bit minimalist, but Inwould like to see retractions in that area, without fully letting it all go.

If he were smart, he’d learn a little from Trump, shoot from the hip more, call people out, speak to the voting blocks anger and fear, show more passion and be more succinct at communicating his ideas and the “why” of it all, he’d be pretty damn unstoppable and a lot of folks on both sides and in the middle would follow him.

ETA: he’d do well to change his hair style also...

Oh they'll have fixed by then and you can keep your doctor.

Trump deserves a second term on the economy and potential for better SCOTUS picks than any alternative candidate. End of story, that’s all she wrote. Period.

If you’re feeling like you shouldn’t vote for him, look in the mirror and think about that and get over all the dog and pony show bullshit.

Understand, in this election if you don't vote for the President because he is not a pure conservative, because he has not repealed some gun laws, etc. Then your just being childish, if you can't see the dangers that is the Democratic party, you need to get on your knees and beg G-D to restore your moral compass.

I stipulate, the President is a jerk at times. But I will tell you I admire his restraint, if I were to be treated as evilly as the President. I would not be so civil to Pelosi and the rest of them.

So here is your choice; infanticide, high taxes, freedoms taken away, even more government intrusion on your lives, the country over run with people we don't want here.

Behind door #2, an great economy, a chance to repeal some bad laws, greater respect for human life, border security.

The country took 60 years to get FUBARed, with the Republicans and President Trump we can change things. Change doesn't come fast it comes slow. Give this President both houses of congress and watch what he can do.

At this point what you said is true, and I know I'm an idealist, but, it is a shame the Court has become so politicized.
Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the President... - Theodore Roosevelt, Lincoln and Free Speech, Metropolitan Magazine, Volume 47, Number 6, May 1918.

Every Communist must grasp the truth. Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun. Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party Mao Zedong, 6 November, 1938 - speech to the Communist Patry of China's sixth Central Committee

Agreed. The man is lacking in charm, at least in his public persona. I also agree with the other poster re: Rand's foreign policy. I think we should support our friends who support freedom. Once it was Trump though, there could be no question for me as to voting Libertarian or down-ticket, and Trump has more than earned a second term.

Absolutely! The coup plotters need to be rooted out and handled with the utmost severity, esp. the Intel and LE plotters. Gotta set the tone for the next guy. This would not have been tolerated if it happened to anyone else. Having said that, my faith is weak that accountability will take place.
