West Point Forces Cadets to Undergo ‘Gender Diversity’ Training

F me, first they graduate an open commie and now this.

West Point Forces Cadets to Undergo ‘Gender Diversity’ Training, Says Men are ‘Toxic’

    https://thewashingtonsentinel.com/we...men-are-toxic/

"America’s premiere military school, West Point, is now forcing cadets to learn about “gender norms,” “diversity,” and “inclusion,” instead of teaching cadets in training useful leadership skills."

"The absurd PCing of the school is so bad that one cadet was heard grousing that they are teaching him “how NOT to be a man.”

Last week the military school held what it called its “Honorably Living Day,” an event described as promoting “diversity, inclusion and acceptance of people from differing backgrounds, races and genders.”

"West Point Superintendent Lt. Gen. Darryl A. Williams laughably insisted that the politically correct indoctrination would further “combat readiness.”

“The Trump Doctrine is ‘We’re America, Bitch.’ That’s the Trump Doctrine.”

"He is free to evade reality, he is free to unfocus his mind and stumble blindly down any road he pleases, but not free to avoid the abyss he refuses to see."

I just got off the phone with my son, who is in his second semester of his Junior Year at the USMA. He will commission Spring 2021. I asked him about this article and his said it wasn't mandatory. You can opt out of classes for more than one class period if you want to see the films, plus lectures in the evening are also optional. He said the turn-out was @ 10% of the entire Academy so far. He said it's kind of a joke, and some of the cadets have been going just to hang out with other cadets for laughs. My son will be 21 in March.

He's only been back in classes for a couple of weeks this Semester. He spent some time over the Christmas Break training with other soldiers doing Winter Mountain Training with the Vermont National Guard and 10th Mountain Division.

Believe he is at Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, Jericho, Vermont going through the winter phase of Mountain Warfare School. It is still cold there, but great mountain training, they offer a winter and summer phase. AWESOME

He did the Summer portion last year in Vermont before going to Fort Knox to help train ROTC cadets. He is having to break the Winter phase into two parts because of his schedule at West Point. He says they met at Camp Johnson in Burlington, VT then travel as a group to Jericho.

He says he will get the Ram's head, but can only wear it if he was assigned to the 10th Mountain. Apparently it's not authorized for wear with other units. Who knows? He has already done Jump School at Benning and Air Assault at Fort Campbell.

A funny story. He has been undecided about Branch and he gets his Accessions Packet this coming Fall - he has been divided between Infantry, Intel and Armor. He speaks German and Russian fluently, in addition to Classic Old Spanish from New Mexico. The day he completed Air Assault and after his ruck, he was approached by an Armor LTC who was visiting Campbell and he approached my son. The LTC asked my son: "How was that ruck?". My son responded: "It was Hell, Sir". The LTC then gave my son this question: "How would you like to have your weapon carry you and your ruck?" After that, my son has been considering the Armor Branch.

My 20 year old son has always been a lover of Army stuff, but he enjoys hanging with the Senior Non-Coms the most. He says they have the best stories and are not Primadonnas like some officers. Here's a couple of pics of my son (still in High School as a JROTC Cadet at age 17) rappelling off a 200 foot cliff. My son is on the left in the first pic:

Prior to SOI, I would have said "No way!"

After carrying a pack for six years, I would be seriously pondering it, as he is.

Of course, being a secret squirrel with a West Point degree and a TS/SCI, he's pretty much set after retirement.

You were an 11A or 11B? Rucking all the time was the last thing I wanted to do. I wanted Armor at first - Got M.I. then accessed to Aviation. Why walk when you can fly......
