Bul Ltd 1911's
I was cruising around GunBroker and ran across some 1911's made by Bul Ltd which is apparently an Israeli company. Does anyone have experience with these pistols?

They had a small blurb on guns and ammo tv the other day on these. I'm in to see as well

No experience with them, but recall the name as being around 20+ years ago so they aren't new to building them.

They have also made copies of the CZ75.

I actually had a BUL .45 semi auto several years ago (+/- 15) it was, at best, a continually jamming pice of garbage. That was then.

Magnum Research imported some Bul 1911 pistols as the “Desert Eagle 1911” over ten years ago. My wife saw one at Gander Mountain and had to have it. It hasn’t had over 500 rounds thru it but has never jammed with any jhp we’ve shot. It is actually very accurate and seems to prefer good old 230gr ball.
The bottom line is it’s redhead approved.

A couple of things have turned me off from moving forward with purchasing one. A distributor that I called told me that, in spite of the pictures, they all have front slide serrations. I know a lot of people like them, but I don't. There isn't an option for an aluminum frame. Finally, the seller on GunBroker doesn't reply to questions. I guess you can't give some people money. They do look like good pistols and it's good to hear that they perform well. If they come out with an aluminum framed model that doesn't have front slide serrations, I'll likely get one.
