Night Sights With RMR Or No?

BS, I've been running them since 2010 without and haven't had a night sight on a gun since 2002. I just taught a night course of fire night before last and not a single set of night sights in the group. If you can't see your sights without tritium tell me how you're PIDing your target. There is about a 45 minute period at dawn and dusk where night sights are applicable and I would still use a light.
That said, if someone wants them then by all means go for it, but to say they are a requirement is foolish.

I agree 100%. Night sights are just a sacred cow for the untrained that just needs slaughtered once and for all.

Are you using a weapon light on your handgun? If so, great. If not, a front sight with tritium makes a whole lot of sense. Big difference between an artificial training class environment and real world situations.

Have you “real world” shot somebody in low light so dark you couldn’t see the front sight and you had no weapon light?

I love, you know, PID. Because you can’t shoot shadows.

If it’s dark enough to need night sights, it’s too dark to PID.
