Any collector value to old Glocks?

Have gen2 19 with Austrian proofs and a early gen1 17 with Tupperware box and paperwork.

Was thinking of getting something else and using these two as funds. Looked around GB and only found two 17 gen1. One with two dozen bids at just over $500 and the other with zero bids at $1999.00. Couldn't find anything on Austrian proofed 19

Are they just typical Glocks or is there more value to them then just a used Glock?

Unless you have a Gen 1 19, P80, P82, or one of the Glocks made by factory workers for themselves that never went into production, don't expect huge numbers.

I wasn't expecting anything drastic but typical used gen 2-4 17/19/22/23 run about $325-$375 depending on condition and extras.

If these have another $100 more I'd rather get that then the $350+/-

Unless it's in excellent condition and you happen to find someone willing to pay for one, don't expect more than that.

If your gen1 is immaculate and all complete with box and accessories etc. it may bring more money to the right buyer (auction site???). They seem to be getting more collectible from what I’m reading in GT. The gen2 probably won’t command much over any other used Glock.

It's a dang plastic gun, unless it hides from x-rays better than later gens I don't see it being more desirable. YMMV.

I don't understand half the things people collect but that's not my problem. Saw one on GB going for over $500

I didn't realize until last summer there were different types of Tupperware boxes including the cartridge holder model.

That Glock .50-90 Sharps is ALMOST old enough to be collectible now...

Very mild "collectable" value in Gen 1 17s. Not enough that they've kept up with inflation.
