Pepperidge Farm remembers... GB is chalked full of ignorant over-bidding for instant gratification.

Lots of ‘NR’ bidding going on there - including the winner.

    Hmmm...

Exactly... Ebay is the same crap. They think we don't know but we do.

I always check GB to see where current stupidity levels are at

    For instance. G17 gen1 $511 with 19 bids

10 years ago a large batch of Russian captured German K98s came in. All beat up with sewer barrels. I remember wanting to pick up a 8mm just for shits and giggles but wasn't willing to spend the $200 they were going for. Today the better ones....and that's playing fast and loose with the word "better".......are approaching $1,000. Hell, even the shitty Mosins are in the high $300 low $400 for a typical late war example. People have lost their minds

WHAT are the odds, I could get Obama & Eric Holder to autograph it? Would THAT add to the value?

Yes. And for the Mosin example, we knew in the past that they were an insane value and deal because "do you know what it would cost to make one of these new today?" vs what the surplus were going for.

But isn't great that 8-10 years ago a 6920 was a ~$1,200 rifle and now people think it's ludicrous to pay that much for one?
