A friend payed $1,240 each for two random parts builds 25 years ago and was happy he could get them at that price. I bought a Bushmaster Dissipator for $890 in '93 and it was a good deal. I paid $179 for a MAK-90 in '92 and then I was pissed when I saw them a couple of weeks later at a gun show for $139 each. I just sold an original barrel Bulgarian AK74 parts kit on GunBroker for $999 that I paid $250 ten years ago. It's all supply and demand. If something seems like a good deal, buy it. I bought four of the Mexican 6920's.

Something like no rating, or whatever. A new account without a transaction history. Often speculated that people make shill accounts to generate bid activity trying to make items appear more desirable, or whatever. In the end though if you're going to sell it, somebody has to for-real bid that final number.

I just got rid of my last Mosin, so took it to the LGS with good prices to put it on consignment. When the sales guy I know say why don't you try for $500, I gave him a stupid look and said what moron would spend $500 on a Mosin? Fast forward a week and I got a check in the mail for 3X what I paid for it. Amazing.

These were out the same time the Colt 6920-R Troopers w/Centurion rails could also be had for $650-700; the summer of 2018.

I waited a tad too long and bought one for $815 that winter as a Xmas gift to myself and would buy 4 more if I could at $800-ish.

Sold for $1452.89. The last five bidders have good feedback. That's a real market price.

When people desire literal trash, then yes, they have lost their minds.

    Gun folks are generally autismos.
