Thats about MY luck, brother! If you ever get to tho, it would be great info.
If they are close, Im gonna ring up old asshole who told my figures were garbage and tell him a couple things.

I still stand by my statement.

I had up some good chrono info myself, was up for six/seven months then some dipshit said if I took those wth an optical chrono.."I can throw those results in the garbage".
So I went back, deleted errthang and did just that.
Would be cool to see how close they would be tho.
I would like to know the same. Been tempted to buy the gold standard but the cost …. If I knew it where hands down betta, I’d buy in a heart beat.

Then there is lots of "garbage" thats been printed for 30 years or more using optical chronos. I believe Ill listen to them & my own results before I listen to some jackwad who says shit without ANY proof to back it up.
Do like I suggested and prove it. Until you do, youre just another dipshit with an unproved opinion.
IM betting there aint a nickels worth of difference.

A few thousand rounds ago, this was a very fast barrel, approaching 3k in the summer with this same lot of M855.

I had to delete an outlier that blew the spread…3030fps!!!!! This is the part where I admit y’all were right and no one should shoot any Frontier, ever. Holy shit thats fast.

No matter how cold it gets, this stuff is too hot. I tried it in the 20s F and popped a primer.

Mostly cycled. I should note that this gun has a newish (<2,000rds) action spring, and a compensator. However, if you want to use this powder with light bullets, you may have to launch them harder than typical yeeting loads. Might push it harder, might just keep using it with 147s.

    Ok, now some weirdo shit.

Only 2 rounds. If you want to shoot 10+ rounds through this thing, raise your hand.

The owner made a run of these for me with the goal of min USPSA minor power factor from a 4” pistol barrel, and a FMJ flat point. Side benefit is they seem to be subsonic through anything. I was quite surprised that they broke 1,050, since they are always so quiet.

When I can access my chronograph data I will add to the specific request from the OP. Regarding the precision of Labradar units Oehler 35P, or magneto speed units I have been witness to a single rifle (6.5 Creedmoor) firing with 5 yes 5 chronogrsphs simmolutaneously monitoring. The greatest shot variation was 3 feet per second. 3 LabRadar, one Oehler 35P and 1 Magneto speed.

Thats pretty cool. I want to get both an Oehler and a Magnetospeed, myself.

I would love it if some of you guys could/would run say a Pro Chrono, or just a regular chrono like most of us have, against those high end ones.
I may damn well be wrong..but Id bet an RC & a Moon Pie there aint TOO much difference.

    16.0 BCM ELW 2957 ft/secs SD 25.5 ES 58

Note identical velocities recorded for both 14.5 & 16" barrels! Perhaps the small sample of only 5 rounds each was a part of this anomaly.
