    This thread made me think of how hot handguards would get in Ar Ramadi without covers. And zero shots fired.

    Hey. How about Magpul polymer covers for metal stocks?? ;-)

    Although I'm still mad I had to put covers on my beautifully finished Mega MMR forend...

    I have a AR pistol that uses a A5 pistol RE and a Tailhook brace. I hated the feel of the aluminum on my face so much I bought some crazy thick heatshrink tubing on McMaster Carr.
