I see it this way: When NY passed the SAFE act, which had worse elements in it than anything Northam is trying to accomplish in VA, a few hundred NYers showed up in Albany unarmed, holding their signs.
In Virginia, Richmond hadn’t passed ANY abusive laws yet, and 20k-25k showed up in full battle rattle, with a f#cking Guillotine. I love it. That’s mostly to do with the VCDL organizing efforts. They are a superb bunch.

While I could give less of a damn about pandering to any 'special interest' group in order to retain constitutional rights, it is nice to see some people finally figuring out how to use the leftist's game against them.
