I would have to go with Centurion or wait a little bit and get the new VLTOR CASV with MLOK.

My 1st choice would be to remove the FSB, shave it and chose a >12” MLok handguard
If the above is not an option, I would install a drop in carbine piece, like the Knights RAS

Bought a 12" Brownell's on sale last night, Have to keep in mind this is going to be a house/yard gun. Just about fell over back wards when I saw how much some wanted for their products, Insane!

I fully understand, but you get to a point that all things can be overdone. There's a heck of a lot of crap that gets sold today just because it's price point "it must be good because it's the most expensive". Back before I retired we saw equipment come in that had low price points that compared to much more expensive name products and we were able to plow the savings back into the business. Case in point is John Deere tractors compared to Kubota, I have ran both and they both are top tier but one sells for a whole lot more money but at the end of the day they both do a great job.

This is the correct answer, but incredibly pricy relative to other fine options.

Otherwise, keep your life simple and get the Midwest Industries option.

Edit: Eh, I see you’ve already made a purchase.

Add CMT DRT to your list of considerations for affordable but good handguards.
