    I haven't seen it in a while but I think the last stuff I bought was 3M brand. Still on there after 4000 rounds..

    As above, 3M stair/ladder grip tape. If you have a problem with it coming off, cut out the piece you wish to affix, lay out on the front strap and mask a outline in tape. Degree with a solvent and spray with 3M 77 or 99 and allow to tack up and apply your grip tape after removing the masking. Simple clean up with acetone.
    I know I should just keep my mouth shut and smile, but what fun is that?

    I have tried skateboard tape but there in something in the glue or the grit that doesn't agree with my skin and after serious range sessions leaves my fingers irritated, red, itchy and raw.

    Short of checkering, I'd go with the Talon gun grips and will try them on a RIA G.I.
