I have two thoughts, if they actually exist.
One that they are somehow an echo of a terrible event. The other being that if there is a soul or spirit, I can think of thousands of reasons why it might not move on at first, or ever.
The main problem with ghosts is IF they exist in any form, they should be everywhere and part of daily life.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
