So in order to "officially" become an American you must pass this driving test.

If driving on the interstate you discover you passed your exit, rather than drive to the next exit to proceed to your destination you should:

A: Pull off the road to the service / emergency lane then put your vehicle in reverse and back up until you can take your missed exit.

    B. Drive to the next emergency vehicle U turn option, proceed in the opposite direction until the next emergency vehicle u turn option and then proceed to your original exit.

    C. Do a u turn into the far left emergency lane and drive against traffic until you return to your exit and then do another u turn against three lanes of traffic in order to exit the interstate at your missed exit.

    D. Any combination of the above that you feel will get you to your missed exit most efficiently.

Bonus points if driving a mini van with Ontario plates.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

People move to CO from CA in droves. The mostly DO NOT move here to escape CA policies. In fact, they love CA policies, and do their best to bring that shit with them.

Many come here because there are good jobs, housing is cheaper, and there is less traffic. Not because we are somehow freer or less lefty.

In 10 more years, CO will be CA...housing will be completely unaffordable, traffic will be way worse, and the locusts will move to TX.

You guys keep saying this, but I know dozens of people that have left CA for CO, OR, AZ, TX, GA and every single one of them left because of the blue state BS here. Not a one of them votes blue, and all of them universally despised the CA politics and politicians they left behind. It makes no sense to me that a communist hipster or boomer is going to leave their communist paradise and move to a gun-totin' red neck state to be surrounded by people whose ideals and politics are directly opposed to their own. Why would they do that? You don't move to a place that you think is awful. You move to a place that more closely matches your beliefs, which is what all the Californians I know that have left did. And they took their guns with them.

When I eventually leave here, assuming some miracle doesn't come along and fix this once great state, I will not be voting for communists or communist policies wherever I end up.

I can clearly see that a lot of states are turning purple or blue, but I think you are laying the blame in the wrong place. There aren't too many Californians voting blue in Austin. Beto didn't come from CA. Bernie and the Clintons didn't come from CA. Obama came from the other side of the country. I share your frustration with the situation, but pointing the finger in the wrong direction doesn't help. There are more conservative voters in CA than in any other state. We seem to be outnumbered, depending on how much they are cheating at the polls, which I think is a substantially high amount more than any of us can imagine, but there are still a lot of good people here that aren't voting for the destruction of our Republic.

I also know dozens of people that have left CA or NY to come to CO. Not a single one of them is conservative and none of them came here to escape liberal policies.

They came here because they can find a job in tech and afford to buy a house. They'll play the long game on politics, vote blue, and in a few years have all the things they liked about the place they left plus a house.

We get both types. And the in-betweeners that are the worst sort.

Yeah, the ratio of people I know that moved to Colorado is probably 1:3 - the 3 being people who went to find a job and live in a beautiful place and 1 being those that moved for politics.

Well if the lefties are leaving CA 3:1, we should get our conservative majority back any day now! Now I hope you guys are right!

That's why they support Foreign Invasion (as opposed to our OP's follow-the-process Legal Immigration), more raw material to maintain and spread their cancer with.
