Suppressor recommendations for B&T APC223 Gen 2 SBR

Looking to purchase a suppressor for a Gen 2 apc223 pistol with the 8.74" barrel. The pistol is in the process of being sbr'd and will serve as primary home defense option. The current muzzle device on the pistol is the standard B&T flash hider that came with it.

I prefer a quick attach option that can be used on other 5.56 ARs (11.5" up to 16") as well as 7.62 ARs (16" & 18"). I already own a SiCo Omega 300 (min barrel length is 10" in 5.56) with dead air KeyMo adapter and would like to keep this as the mounting system for the new suppressor if possible as i am already invested in dead air flash hiders.

I am interested in hearing your recommendations and experiences you may have.

Reading your requirements, it sounds as if you’ve described the Sandman S, although you probably won’t like it on your 16” 5.56 gun unless you’re shooting prone or bench.

How quiet do you want it?
Sandman or vox k (check barrel restrictions, not sure if any) will be short but still quite loud.

The s size cans are more middle of the road to balance size and noise.

    What about the 16" 5.56 won't I like about the Sandman S?

Good question. My priorities for this can are:

    1. Cost
    2. Durability
    3. Sound reduction

Like many other suppressors, it is long and heavy on a 16”, unless you’re shooting prone/bench.

If length/weight is really no issue, get a full size can.

    Griffin Armament Recce 5

    https://www.silencershop.com/griffin...t-recce-5.html

    Cost is great
It’s made of 17-4PH which rivals Inconel 718 properties at a lower cost
It’s one of the quietest 5.56 cans tested by silencershop
And the taper mount is one of the best on the market when it come to repeatable poi shift when removing and reinstalling the can
