Try go early in the morning, like before 8am. Most of the stuff should have been restocked (except of course toilet paper and sanitizers/wipes).

The HEB's down here changed hours from 8am to 8pm because folks were not allowing employees to get the goods on the shelves & rushing the carts as they came out of the back. The lines are now around the store at opening. Our household is in the same shape and need to restock but they were out of everything yesterday. Wife sent pics of bare shelves...you name it, no laundry detergent, tampons, cereal, soups, coffee along with the common milk, eggs, meds & TP you expect by now. Hoping the limits placed & the initial rush dies down & will try again in a few days. I have enough wild game in the deep freeze to last months but the insanity is unreal & hope it returns for the wife & kids sake at least. Wife showed me a vid of some clown on FB a town over selling a huge U-haul full of TP on a busy corner & folks were lined up to pay this jack leg?? Son was supposed to return to TCU yesterday & finish up for graduation, but looks like he'll get an extra week or two of spring break & start online classes. Man this kid can eat.

May end up having to... I know HEB operates 8 to 8 so they’re OOQ. Market Street (Albertson’s) is 24/7 so we may try there. My wife and I do Keto so hopefully we’ll still be able to find the foods we eat. Going to Tractor Supply later on to find dog food. Local schools are remaining closed for an additional two weeks here after SB.. If the situation wasn’t bad enough already.... Damn socialism test run!!

There's enough information that suggests corona isn't much different than a cold or flu among those under 65. But it can and does hit the elderly hard, particularly those with underlying respiratory and immune system issues.

Instead of shutting down America from coast to coast, how about we just ask those 65 and older (15% of the US population) to stay home for a bit. Many are retired anyway. Instead of local, state and federal governments chasing their tail testing countless millions of people and all the other things they're trying to do, focus on bringing food and meds to the elderly at home. Family, friends, neighbors, church, local community, as well as Amazon, UPS and FedEx. Setup a hotline phone bank and websites for the elderly. Let the rest of America go on with their lives.

Yesterday Costco had toilet paper, sparkling water, canned food, rice, etc....

Local supermarket had just about everything except cleaning supplies. No shortage of food except pasta and pasta sauce.

Sorry, that code has been cracked. The secret got out a day or two ago. All of the people taking off of work are waiting when the stores open now. That's a lot of people.

One place left in town with lots of T.P..

Kidding... No T.P. left. Thanks CNN.

My two oldest sons, almost 18 and 16 1/2, work at Harris Teeter, baggers. Harris Teeter has likewise started closing at 9 pm, not because of inventory but so do a more thorough clean and to restock.

My wife is a morning shopper, usually out the door by 0630. She said the stores are getting progressively busier then, with more people buying more stuff. My sons say that by 4 or 5, a lot of product is off the shelf.
