M-LOK mount or 1" shims for .8" light body?

I have an old Viking Tactics Surefire L4 light that I really like, but the Viking Tactics mount is really bulky, especially after adding a piece of rail section to an M-LOK slot.

Are there any .8" M-LOK optic mounts out there? If not, is anybody aware of any shims that can convert a .8" light tube to fit a 1" ring?

Do some calculations on Kydex sheet and make your own with a heat gun to shape it.

Cut strips of bicycle tube to wrap around the light to shim it into the mount.
    Open the pig!

Thanks, folks. These are good ideas, especially the Kydex bit.

Unfortunately, I want to mount this light at the 10-11 o'clock position on my rail, and this almost puts me back in the same place the Viking Tactics mount has me with regards to weight and clunkiness.
