The necessity of a light on an EDC pistol

The next logical step from, "You shouldn't have a weapon light because other people don't have the training to use it," is...

"You shouldn't have a gun because other people don't have the training to use it."

You shouldn't have a weapon light because it is not a tool for the majority of people to use. Train to use a hand held flashlight in conjunction with your pistol.

I have to say the part of the American gun community, that thinks because Tier 1 and other Special Ops units use a tool, then we must have the same thing to be taci cool.

If you have a gun and you don't train with it, then that is just stupid.

Cops and civilians for the most part don't put in the long days of training day after day. So why in the hell would using the same tools be the right thing to do.

If my saying this saves even one person from getting killed by an untrained person with a WML, it is worth it.
