    If you have a .327 magnum revolver maybe they'll have a box of .32 acp (certain brands) , .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long, .32 Magnum, or .327 Magnum. A .327 fires all of it.

But really I wouldn't count on any store. In any gun / ammo panic / civil unrest all you can really count is what you have today or take with you.

Yea maybe but I walked into Walmart the other day and they had a plethora of 30-30. Not tactical by any means but I have no problems with 6-8 rounds of 30-30 in a handy little carbine.

I definitely wouldn't be counting on anything 32. I don't do "certain brands" or anything smaller than 380 and even that is only select few times a year. Hot humid weather T-shirt, jeans and a G19 conceals very well. Besides who now spends all day I'm that weather? It's house, car, office/mall/building with AC.

The 327 concept is good in my opinion. The way the 357/38 beats it is ammo costs. But if the 327 were to catch on it would be a great carry revolver round. The 327 mag is a good option for revolvers as it allows one more round with descent power still.

I haven't checked recently but .32 S&W Long for practice was the same price a box as new brass practice .38 special. (@$12.50 / 50 )

.327 about $.40 a round, not far from .357 magnum. (85-100 gr bullets at 1200-1350 fps from a snub)

.32 magnum is the pricey one, unfortunately. Still over $.50 a round.

Practice with a snubbie using those 98 grain bullets at 625 fps in .32 Long sure is fun! (PPU brand, there are hotter ones available)

For any that are unfamiliar with the mod 12 S&W, here's photos of an old mod 12-2 that has been modded.
(The mod 12 was basically an alloy frame, mod 10/K frame)
I removed hammer spur, stoned off full cock notch, removed serrations from trigger and did a "double action trigger job".
The Tyler T-Grip makes it pretty controllable with +P Speer "Short Barrel" loads.

    Thanks.

Double Action is 8 lbs. and smooth. Pretty easy to shoot well.

I'd love to find one but they seem to be rare as hens teeth.

They seem to have dried up.
Used to see them available with some regularity. S&W Forum classifieds would have one listed fairly frequently.

Polled for .357 cause that's what I have (SP101) and occasionally carry though my primary carry is a 3" 1911.

I have been interested in .327 FM since it came out. Intellectually it appealed to me, but not enough to make the leap I suppose. I wish more was available in the caliber, but I suppose guys like me are most of the problem there.

I have thought about 9mm. Tick, tock... Yeah, that's about as far as I got with that.

The wheel has a place in my carry routine, guess cause I just feel like it sometimes. Occasionally it goes as a back up, spends a lot of time in the center console or wedged between the driver and center seat in the truck.

I practice with .38 or cheap .357. Load it with quality. 357 HPs for carry. Speed strips for reloads. Where is that "easy button" emoji?
