Where are you finding them that cheap?
    Thanks,

Usually holiday sales like Black Friday. Seems like they always do it on Black Friday at Powder Valley. On rare occasion, you can find them under $200 per thousand other times of the year. I think I paid $180 once. It makes approx MOA ammo for me, so I'm happy with it.

Yeah the first time I found the 77gr cc they were $149. Then they’ve just jumped from there. I’m into some 75gr hpbt from Everglades at $.156/rd. Going to load those up with h322 and cfe223 and see what happens.

Sign up to be notified here. I’ve ordered from these guys a few times. Seem like a good vendor.

    Thank you, sir.

More than once I've seen these listed with the admonition that these require a 1/8 bbl twist. Can you still achieve 5.56 velocity levels (and expected terminal ballistic potential) with a 1/7 twist?

The 1/8 twist is more like a recommended minimum requirement so you will be in good shape with the 1/7.

A lot of good brass, bullets, and powder have been wasted chasing velocity. It's certainly easier to do with some powders than others, but I would encourage you to make performance on target the goal, as opposed to velocity. Bullet choice can be reconsidered if terminal ballistics are the priority.

I've never chased velocity, only accuracy. Didn't own a chronograph until 3 years ago. Rarely use it. I always just found my velocity by determining zero at varying distances out to 750 yds.
