    77gr Nosler CC load?

I happen to have 1k 77grain Nosler custom competion bullets and several pounds of H4895. My primer stash looks to be CCI SR and 41.

ETA: Found an eight pound jug of TAC!

I have a feeling I'm going to get furloughed soon, so I will have some time on my hands.
Is there a good load that someone can recommend? Specifically for an 11.5" SBR and Colt 6720.
I have been looking at Nosler's load data, also have most of the load manuals.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have ran reloader 15 and cfe223 with them and had good luck with both.

My most accurate 77gr Nosler CC load is with XBR at 22.9gr and a Remington BR primer, OAL 2.25. Varget in the 23.7 range was decent for me also at just under a minute on average. Would be curious to see how you do with the 4895. Always good to have options.

We like H322 with these Nosler bullets and had good success. It meters good enough to run fast and easy too.

My 77 gr loads receive 8208 XBR because it delivers the best accuracy in my rifles. However, don’t overlook TAC powder- I’ve found it to be very useful with everything from 55-77 grs. It also meters and throws exceptionally well due to its small granuales and is cheaper than the Hodgdon/IMR offerings. I buy 8-pound kegs for ~$170 online from time to time.

I’ve got 1 pound of tac, but can’t find any more. Found 8#'s, I'm going to run with TAC.

24.4 of TAC with the 77 Nosler CC and 23.4 of 8208 both work well for me

You really have to work hard to make a 77gr OTM shoot bad. For long range, you like to have low spreads/SDs for consistency on the come ups and shot to shot variances. We get this from mild primers and bench rest style powders.

Inside of 200-300 though, the 77 is pretty forgiving.

yea, the 77grain Noslers are 90% as good as SMK's. And for the price you cant beat them. I would add to Mark post and say to 500 yards is pretty much, GTG. Mark shoots them 1,000 yards with iron sights but thats another insane conversation. Takes a few tries but the magnet light blinks.

I know each barrel is different, but my 77CC accuracy load happens to be 22.8gr XBR, using Wolf SRM primers.
