Sounds like you are right on the limit. Once you get around that number, accuracy is more important than pure speed. It's a legit goal but not solitary.
Gotta love FPS, but accuracy is huge too.

Correct. My 2460 load is more accurate, but I sacrifice a little velocity, and down range performance.

I loaded up some Nosler CC's on top of 21.6gr. of H322 in the barn last night and just tried them. Average of 2,485 fps. through a BCM 16" bbl.
I still have a ways to go to get closer to the Mk.262 clone round I'm aspiring to.

22.1 Grains of H322 yielded me 2688 FPS in an 18" 5.56 BCM barrel, LC Brass, Nosler 77 gr CC, CCI450 primer @ 2.250" COAL. That's still a 55,000 PSI load according to a Quickload output that somebody ran for me. Accuracy was excellent, and I haven't gone higher, as that rifle is no longer mine, nor do I currently have enough H322 on hand to run more tests on the 16" AR I now have.

I'm telling you, these powder lot variances can be huge. I loaded some recently that I thought was just "stout"... not even chasing 5.56 pressures/velocity, and I was getting blown primers and stuff.
Going forward, I'm definitely going to calibrate for any lot changes.
A buddy of ours worked up our original Mk262 copy with XBR and Wolf Primers. I'd love to know how that work up would have gone with the hotter CCI 41 primer.

Thanks to both of you. I'd be happy with high 2600 if I can get it with the H322 without pressure issues.
