Silencer Shop price increase on cans

I've been studying costs/benefits for my next can and I noticed the prices on Silencer Shop just jumped significantly (about $300 on the one I was contemplating). I'm hopeful they are not following the "Cheaper Than Dirt" model of spiking prices during the current coronavirus surge for ammo and such. I get and respect that it's private business and free market but I'm hopeful this isn't how they roll.

$300 increase? I think that most suppressors are overpriced versus what it takes to make them anyway. What suppressor were you looking at?

Doesn’t SS allow “powered by” shops to set their own prices? Probably your home shop raising the price.

There has to be a pretty good margin on NFA stuff. There's such a chain of custody burden, it should make dealers some money for the ass ache.

Silencer Shop does not set the prices. Whatever price you saw was the dealer you selected or defaulted to.

Thanks Renegade! This was the solution. The default somehow changed to a dealer I've never heard of and resetting this resolved the issue. You taught me something new - thanks.

Someone set the price on my can, and it wasn't the dealer. Because mine wasnt part of SS network.
