Trijicon MRO question

I just bought my second MRO from Amazon this past week. This is one of the newer (2019 and above) MROs. When I received the optic the battery was already installed? My original MRO purchased in 2017 had the battery packaged with warranty cards and not installed in the optic. Does anyone know if Trijicon is installing the batteries at the factory now or did I get a used/returned MRO?

Installing at the factory. I had the same question when i received mine, and trijicon confirmed that they are doing it at the factory .

After the initial batch Trijicon began sending them out with battery already installed because people were bending the battery contacts when they tried to install the battery.

I accidentally broke one of the tabs that holds the battery. Fortunately, everything still works. Stupid mistake; lesson learned.
