What impact do these stay home orders have?
Thanks for the advice everyone. My instinct is to drive but it sounds like with the low numbers and aggressive cleaning schedule flying isn't as bad as I thought it might be. I appreciate everyone's response.
BC, I'm not sure how the stay home orders would affect my travel considering I'm traveling home in the first place. That is one of my concerns with driving. If a letter from the Army isn't sufficient I don't want to get charged with breaking a curfew or whatnot order that I'm not tracking.
Idk everyone says the numbers are low and the airlines are cleaning but I flew from Hawaii to Phoenix on march 17 and that flight was giving me horrific anxiety. Way to many families with sick kids taking ZERO responsibility for a cough or sneeze. As if spreading just a regular sickness is OK, these jagoffs adjusted for nothing given the circumstances. There isn't enough cleaning you can do for this virus in my opinion short of bleach.
"Just throw Krylon on it"
it(the stay at home orders that is) wont affect it at all as far as the airlines are concerned. There is still a constitutional law in effect where you have freedom to travel(even NYC isnt completely shut down to the outside world). The only out of the ordinary stuff I saw was in Providence, RI the other day where they had national guard soldiers near baggage claim and they were taking peoples temps, having passengers fill out a little sheet of where they came from and I believe their address in RI as well as giving them a piece of paper with recommendations on it. I have heard this is in place in a few airports. Legality of tracking people's movements aside, the NG folks seemed pretty easy going.
