So many options out there you could almost close your eyes and grab whats on the shelf. I'm shooting 165gr Nosler Accubonds right now. They group very well out of my LMT MWS and also a Rem 700 5R with a 20" barrel I have. I've also shot Hornady's 178gr ELD-X and they group very well also. The Hornady 150gr Whitetail is a great low cost round. Basically pick your flavor and see what your rifle likes and your budget like the most.

Hornady SST's are most accurate out of my gun. Lots of options will do, as others say.

Most anything will work. Hell, i shot a 5x5 bull Elk, 405 yards with Federal 165 grain Trophy Bonded Bear Claw last fall.

Pretty much any .308 round (excluding varmint or frangible) will kill a deer. Shot placement is the key!

Get a round you are accurate with.

I have always been a big favorite of 165gr Speer Hot Cor for deer.
IMR 4064 has been my favorite powder for years @ 44.5
Win Brass and Fed 210 match primers. Excellent deer load .
For Factory load the Federal premium 165gr Sierra Gameking BT load is accurate and excellent for deer.
