This would seem to imply that drudge is still part of drudgereport.com.

I have been going there less and less over the past year. But over the past month I found myself going there more often but still wondering why the new slant.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

All editorial bias news eventually devolves into sensationalism and fabricated news.

Even if started with the best intentions, editorial pre bias means you ignore half of the truth and are forced to expand (exaggerate) the other half of the truth to arrive at a full story of some kind. This is the fate of all media with a preferred editorial / political bias.

And if some lunatic decided to do "true actual news without a political bias" he would die penniless and in obscurity because nobody is going to pay for that. It would be like a comprehensive 8 volume set of books that proved "we built the pyramids and no aliens showed up to help", Atlantis never existed, there was no global flood, there were no giants and there is nothing at Area 51 except advanced military hardware developed by us or partial inspired by enemy designs. Oh and there isn't a secret nazi moon base on the dark side or in Antarctica.

Nobody would pay money for those books. If a person could definitely prove beyond any kind of doubt whatsoever, he'd have to self publish the books and everyone would ignore than, ignore the evidence that supports them and continue to suggest how there might be nazis on the dark side of the moon and they got there using alien technology which was given to Atlantis before it was destroyed and then discovered by a nazi archeological project.

In short, we can never win. Stupid people who believe stupid, ridiculous things...dramatically outnumber critical thinkers who evaluate evidence. As a result click bait always wins.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

The idea that a news outlet should take untenable positions just because they align ideologically with a given party is absurd and the type of bad journalism we all recognize in places like MSNBC.

But I could be off base and they're truly just anti-trump. That would be hard because last I checked they're just a news aggregator, and I don't tend to support aggregators. The reality is that there is a lot of anti-trump articles being written right now...they don't have options unless they want to link blatant lies.

“People have noticed that Drudge has basically become a liberal site over the past two years,” a senior figure in conservative media told me that week.
In interviews with over a half-dozen various former Drudge associates, about half suggested that the site may no longer be under his control. For these people, politics alone couldn’t explain all the changes at the site. The humor, the oddball stories about sex robots and exorcisms, and the obsession with weather events are all almost entirely gone, along with any pretense to original reporting.
As one Drudge confidante noted, the tone on The Drudge Report was hardly funereal when the Republicans were wiped out in the 2018 midterms. The pivot away from Trump began not long after that.
