Holy Cow!! --- If I start a new thread named FPV Build would you mind answering a few questions for me. I've basically built a 2" geprc CinePro... but I used a FlyWoo FC. I also have no camera on it yet as I think I'm going the DJI goggles and camera route. At any rate after watching hundreds of YT vids I have it flying indoors briefly but I could use some help in BetaFlight on the PID page. I want to fly it but it seems a bit touchy for my skill level and I will have to fly it LOS. I have had zero one on one instruction and to say this has been an ordeal to get airborne is an understatement.

I want to add a drone to my business but I decided I was going to learn to build and fly an FPV first. Even if I end up getting a Mavic or Autel Evo2. I was ready to get my 107 right when the virus deal hit. If you are too busy that's cool too. Is there a M4C like forum for drones? If there is I can't seem to find it.

Probably deserving of it's own thread. The CinePro is a pretty standout setup, it works pretty well. If you're on stock firmware, I can definitely help - the UAVTech discord is one of the places I spend a fair bit of time, and between myself and a couple other guys we'd have you pretty well set up in no time. I happen to have the right background to actually be fairly helpful in this area, might as well.
Short term answer - lower rates help tremendously, the stock ones are pretty fast (but this is coming from somebody who predominately races, so 270°/s maximum stick deflection is what I run on most of mine.

RCGroups has information in it, but isn't anything like M4C. Long Range Hooligans and RotorRiot Facebook have information, but it's ARFCOM levels of SNR (great stuff if you know how to filter). BlackboxLogReview, JESC, PiroFlipRC, and similar pages have narrow specific focus and tend to be much more technical or product-centric, but for facebook groups are shockingly helpful. Joshua Bardwell's YouTube, UAVTech, and for specifically the CinePro, CopperTopFPV are ones I'd go to, I know those guys.

Short answer, I really enjoy helping other people with their quads on the internet when I'm bored, so I'm down to help - basically anybody willing to receive advice, let along seek it, is going to do quite well with these things...
it's the ones who haven't figured out that they're dong it wrong that can be the general annoyance (see thread).

That sounds fantastic! I need to finish my taxes today so maybe this weekend I can sit down and outline what I have and the pieces of the puzzle I'm getting stumped on. Have watched a ton of Bardwell's vids, I practice on Velocidrone, generally don't do Facebook but I can change that. I can't believe I've never landed on the UAVTech YT channel. There is a guy named Drone Mesh and he's got some good stuff. But you have named several I have never heard of.

I think that UAVTech PID tuning video is exactly what I have been trying to find someone to explain to me. Going to watch that latter. I found the googledrive with all the docs on it but does this UAVTech have an actual forum I could join. I'm not real clear how you guys interact with each other.

Oh, and DrainMan he's good on YT. I learned a lot about the taranis from his vids. How to get everything flashed up to date.

I really appreciate the offer. I'll get an outline of what I have and all my settings in Betaflight and the Tarannis and tell you what I understand and what I don't know how to do next. I think that PID vid is going to help me up quite a bit though. Just watched the intro for now.

Hit me up anytime, it's pretty amusing finding people that overlap on both sides of my hobby set... and there's no sense hoarding information that I had to put effort into learning before it becomes fully obsolete.

Drone did not make an appearance on Easter. Decided not to shoot it incase it's some federal land survey or some nonsense. Would hate to bring heat on the land owner that gets us booted off the property. Not worth it.
