My lifestyle says Made in the USA is a definite go ! Not even a question or any doubt whatsoever. If I can avoid a Chinese made product, I will !

So, THANK GOD we have many here who agree with me, & I with them.
So, next time you are on FB or YT with TwangnBang, MrG&G, ect..PLEASE..TELL THEM NOW we want a reasonable timeframe for both the manufacturers to move/stop production in China and for them to also stop promoting Chinese goods. Just politely tell them, this has to stop ASAP.
There are several other places, not eve in America, but who arent at least anti-American, they can still have good stuff made cheaper.
Those of us in agreement..please stand up.

I'm not sure it's that unaffordable as much as it is hard to find none Chinese made goods.

Most of the stuff we buy lasts years so it's not like a daily price increase.

If the choice was to buy an optic made in China or to use iron sights, because you can't afford an American or European optic.

If you give a damn about your children or grandchildren, you will become the best shot you can be using iron sights. Iron sights served the American fighting man very well from Concord up to about 15 years ago give or take.

I am not sure what the future holds for the USA or the world, due to Corona and it's economic impact. We run a chance of going into a world wide depression, which if that happens then the question of Chicom optics becomes just stupid because your going to be selling your guns for a penny on the dollar to try and feed your family.

So let's cut through the bullshit, in my company we have some very smart people. People that have functioned at the highest level that can be in the intelligence and elite units, we are in uncharted waters here. We have no historical data to draw upon. But we are watching riots in Paris for the last 4 nights, police in the 3rd world acting like idiots even shooting people to protect them from Corona, police in America arresting people for playing with their children. We have had a large wire transfer between people that we know have the money and us held up between banks in Europe for 3 weeks.

We are very close to the edge where the cure is going to be more deadly than Corona. We see here in America AOC, basically calling for revolution.

I talked to my parents a number of years ago about the depression. They both said FDR saved the USA from going full blown commie, by what he did. My mother may she rest in peace, a highly educated woman, before it became the norm was a doctor, my father had a masters degree, self made millionaires with hard work. Both said if a mans children are hungry, he will become a commie just for the hope of filling his childrens bellies with food.

So to close, going back to the question of Chicom optics or not?

I say not!

Americans must now make a switch, spend more money on goods from the USA or other countries or kiss the future good bye. If the thought of your children working to just live at survival levels sounds good to you. Then buy Chinese.

As much as I want to support USA made products, I am always going to choose performance and capability over everything. Its why I purchased a Team Wendy Exfil SL even after the Hillary bull shit because I believe they make the best product. I buy Nightforce because I value reliability and turret tracking and zero stability above everything else, even though its Japanese glass and not German glass. I managed to get a holosun 509T and it is better in just about every way over my 2 acros. I will always go to where the best performance is period, even if that means going to china to get it. Fight for my business, make the decision easy for me like be meyers does. Make the best product, and if its american, I'll buy it with a smile on my face. Chinese optics are like voting for Trump, cringe worthy but the best option available sometimes.

My dear wife is European so I must be careful about shouting made in the USA around here... Any item with any amount of parts or materials will most likely have some Chinese bits in it. My goal is to minimize those components while maintaining quality. I'm willing to pay a bit more for made in the USA as long as the quality is there. I've been burned on US made autos so I buy Toyota [many are assembled here but mine is Japanese made]. I would love to buy USA made jeans but they are $75.00 and up. It seems hecho en Mexico is a good compromise to me. Made in China is last on my list and I do look so if I can avoid it I do. I have zero Chinese firearms or accessories and I don't buy Chinese ammo and very little of the Russian stuff [they're not our friends either].
I buy local when I can but when I need something that can't be found at a decent price I turn to the interwebz. But most of my consuming is food and energy.
Each must do as they think best and this is what I do.

There hasn't been Chinese ammo since 1994 and very very few guns after 1994. Some off brand shotguns I believe. That's about it
