Do you not think the market wants it now?
I cannot understand why anyone at this point wouldnt be scrambling to get out of China.
Also- I truly believe that there is a huge market for GOOD USA made stuff.
Are you not hearing a hue & cry now for more US made items?

What would it take for an established optic brand to have their chinese made product line made here or elsewhere? You would pretty much be starting from ground zero to shift manufacturing here.
    You won't outvote the corruption.

If the American people want to keep buying Chicom crap, to save a little money. Then they are either so self centered they don't care about their children having a future or they are so damn stupid they don't deserve to keep the greatest country in world history alive and number 1.Now is the time for the people of the USA, to push our leaders to push all the rest of the world to move away from buying Chicom crap.

Even giving the Chicoms the benefit of the doubt about the release of the virus, that it wasn;t done as an attack. The behavior of the Chicoms post release of closing Wuhan to the rest of China but putting people on flights from Wuhan to the rest of the world and still shipping out defective medical gear.

If your not awake at this point in time and still want cheap crap from China. I have no words, that can change your mind.

Most people don't care and won't care. It comes down to money and perceived savings. This forum is like having blinders on. Go check out other forums and you'll see the people who want a red dot to save money because they're not an "operator". They just want to plink with something thats not iron sights! $20 red dot made in China, sold in Walmart, will work just as well as a $2000 one. Sitting at a bench and worrying about the possibility of putting a scratch on your firearm while shooting your yearly box of ammo ..... price, or name, of your red dot is not relevant.

Hum... can't say that I have. We are still enjoying steady growth, that's for sure, but there are no noticeable change with our sales-trend before or after the Wuhan virus. In fact the last couple weeks had been weaker probably because money is tight with a lot of folks. I suspect some people who would've bought our stuff ended up buying cheaper (offshore) competitions.

I would love everyone to start buying US-made products exclusively, because that means I gotta keep my bonus. (wink wink.) But to be honest, price is a driving factor whether we like it or not... We recently started our dealer program (yeah I am one of the sales guys), and the #1 question I got is "can you make this cheaper" follow by "how about better margin".

This basically says it. I appreciate the forum members here pushing for America-Made, but the rest of the U.S.-of-A just doesn't care. Look, you guys have made you point, you've convinced every person in this forum that we must stop buying Chinese and start buying America. But that's maybe 2% of all firearm accessory sales. What can you REALLY do to make an impact? Or are we simply here to fuel our own self-gratification by proclaiming "I buy America", and be completely content that the remaining 98% of the country keeps "buying China"?

Realize that you were part of the group that created the problem with your purchase of said cheap Chinese Holosun, so if you are pissed at someone, look in the mirror.
I know this wasn't directed at me, but unfortunately Holosun's circle dot reticle is the only one I've found so far that works really well for me despite my astigmatism. So until someone else offers an alternative I'm pretty much stuck with a Chinese product if I want a RDS.

You & others keep intentionally mis-quoting me & others here. We NEVER said make everything 100% in America. We said GET OUT OF CHINA.
Whats hard to understand about that? Whats hard to get behind that? Why it is wrong, or bad to suggest that manufacturers start a process of finding other locales...NOT NECESSARILY AMERICA...to manufacture their products?
No, we/Ive not convinced anyone. Most of the Fudd/Bubbas here will continue wanting a $100 rds to sit on a $400 AR that sits in a safe 364 days a year. Some here support/supported Bernie Sanders on the down low.
Some here seem to have socialist/communist sympathies. To so aggressively argue against an idea, a desire to see less or all production shut down in a country who has been screwing us for 40 years or more, much less the current situation this year, is beyond anything I can understand.
And furthermore- I AM "gratified" when I buy a nice USA made item or piece of gear, your damn right I am.
And you can take your margins...well, you wont be getting any from me.

There's a REASON "economics" hasn't been taught in High School since the '70's. Fiat currency leads to... Chinese outsourcing. Amongst OTHER things...
