Follow Inrangetv's adventure in "buying American". The leupold red dot's rear lens fell out of the optic and the replacement they sent had big scratch on the front lens. I won't just blindly buy American if quality isn't up to par.

I decided to toss my Chicom red dots on Tacswap earlier in the week just to see if they would move. The market seems pretty saturated with Holosuns and Primary Arms red dots but I wasn't interested in giving them away so I priced them at 80% of what I paid for them new. To my surprise, all of them sold the same day except for one of the PA red dots, and it sold this morning. No one even tried to dicker on price either which surprised me. With that money and some store credit I had been saving I walked out with a brand new Aimpoint micro.
Nah they are probably ABCs who's planning to become rooftop Korean Ver.2. Friend of mine from LA was telling me some of the Chinese in his area are legitimately afraid of going to the LGS these days, and they are gobbling up everything they can get online regardless of price.![]()

If somebody has not already said it, there is this same discussion over at Snipers Hide. You may be surprised at some of the info. I would rather not fund China, either.
That said, my PA Cyclops (2 ea) are one of the best optics for me. The Chinese can make some pretty good stuff these days. Just a fact.
