Here's my list of (nearly) all LPVOs (163 LPVOs, 392 reticles), with the country of assembly for each optic. It was a huge pain to compile, I hope y'all find it useful.

And here's the aggregate counts by country of assembly:

    Austria 4
    Canada 2
    China 50
    Czech Republic 4
    Germany 21
    Japan 44
    Japan or Phillipines 1
    Myanmar 4
    Phillipines 8
    Romania 2
    South Korea 4
    USA 19

In the Search field of the page I linked above, if you enter "USA", it'll show you just the 19 optics assembled in the USA.

+1 @SageRatSafaris, that is is awesome, sometimes that info can be really hard to find.

Was browsing your site just now, I see you have a similar list for red dots, and micro red dots for handguns. Fantastic information for the whole shooting community. I was getting almost bummed out trying to find a non-Aimpoint red dot sight for my .22 that was quality construction, and NOT made in China, actually there are a lot of them, more than I realized.

I'm glad you found it useful. As a hobby, I maintain a database of 1400+ optics (all the major brands: rifle scopes, reflex red dots, holos, and prism scopes), and have tried to capture Country of Assembly for all of them. It was certainly an eye-opening experience to see how many optics are Chinese.

Aggregate data for the whole optics database:

    Counry Count of Assembled
    Austria 29
    Canada 7
    China 447
    Colorado 1
    Czechia 30
    Germany 131
    Germany or Hungary 8
    Israel 9
    Japan 227
    Japan or Phillipines 11
    Myanmar 9
    Non-Chicom 2
    Phillipines 149
    Romania 27
    South Korea 42
    Sweden 25
    UK 6
    Unknown 5
    USA 246
    USA and Austria 2
    Grand Total 1413

The two labeled non-Chicom are C-More reflex red dots. I'm pretty sure they aren't made in China, but I don't know where they are assembled.

Edit: The following companies assemble at least one optic in the USA: Leupold, Burris, EOTech, FLIR, Meopta, Nightforce, Sig Sauer, Steiner, Trijicon, US Optics, Vortex, and Zero Compromise.

I have only exclusively used RMR's on my carry and duty guns. Tough as nails optic. I change the batteries every year on my birthday. Recently, a coworker brought in a G17 with Holosun 507 V2 on it and wow, that little thing is everything I wish my RMR is. Better clarity, external battery, surprisingly useful reticles, and according to Sage Dynamics, it's as tough as an RMR.

    Call me a commie, I don't care, but I am strongly considering a 507...

    Truly an amazing effort.

I was wondering if your search engine can except a negative or not search?

Sorry, I haven't implemented that feature, although I have myself wished I had on numerous occasions. I'll put it on the to-do list.
