If it was manufactured at the HQ in Ramat HaSharon.. high praises.. but the PA plant.. as of 2014.. was nothing more then an import hub for the real IWI facility overseas, I have seen some videos where it's mentioned that it's totally manufactured in PA.. which isn't exciting.. the gun is also cheap.

If Pa plant is an import hub then wouldn't the rifle be manufactured in HaSharon?

Does the place of manufacturing have to be exciting or just good? Would it be a better rifle if it was made in some exotic or interesting place? Are you buying the rifle or the Made In _____ stamp?

What is "cheap"? Never having heard of this rifle I looked it up. Prior to Coronavirus all prices seem to be close to standard Colt 6920.

You can hope looking at the specs and price(899msrp) which the real world shelf is $699?.. The various videos ive watched shedding light on its release I think not, it sounds like perhaps another US OEM parts AR with the IWI name.

Perhaps this is personal preference.. however for me to know that it was indeed manufactured purely in Israel with their own hammer forging process, field experience.. this would for sure inspire greater confidence and very well be exciting(for me) also a higher price point, well deserved IMO. Otherwise just chalk it up there next to savage arms/springfield armory/ruger, a quick throw together from various OEM US manufactures..with said "brand" stamped on gets pretty boring, every shotshow some US rifle/pistol manufacture seems to make another johnny come lately AR throw together.

I suppose the right analogy is you can simply have another random X brand AKM variant, which are more then plentiful today or you could have the rare breed RK62/MK62, some things based on origin do often get the well deserved top shelf craftsmanship and a furthering in engineering.. this ground hog's day peanut butter and jelly is getting old.

If Glock made an AR.. manufactured in Austria assembled in Georgia you wouldn't be excited?

If Diemaco Colt Canada decided to release C7 C8 and MRR variants to the US civilian market you wouldn't be excited?

Bear creek arsenal makes a $350 dollar AR when it goes on sale.. perhaps that's what some people would consider cheap, are the 6920 Socom's @ 3g's yet on gunbroker?

If Glock made ARs on the moon I wouldn't be excited. If HK made ARs in Shangri La I wouldn't care......unless there is a specific reason.

I don't know I don't shop on GunBroker and don't use it as a guide to anything. Again, I've never heard of this thing till now but checking prices it was about $100-150 less than a basic 6920 here

GANDR has them in stock, very attractively priced: https://www.gandrtactical.com/IWI-Zi...15_p_2538.html

Nice rifle with premium features. Might not be exactly what some folks are looking for, but definitely (in my opinion) offers a competitive package at a good entry price for an average AR buyer. Durability, I think should be no better or worse than a majority of mid-tier ARs.

IWI is one of the few companies in the world who have a long and well-respected lineage of building top-tier military weapons for many countries; and have their own unique heritage of engineering specialists. I'm pretty sure they won't release anything substandard to the market.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy one especially at that price. I don't think that price will last long, especially before the November.

If it is assembled well, I don’t think there is a better offering anywhere for that kind of price.
