A rifle I’ve had for a couple years got a different optic this week. A 3-9 x42 Kahles, and older scope from a different rifle. Sighted in with 200 yards zero with Winchester (actually made in Sweden) 62 grain OTM. Great ammo. Very accurate. 1” groups at the 200 yard line.
Yesterday morning I spot a coyote out on my range. I have a pistol range and 400 yard rifle range. Shooting rested on the front of my Jeep, at an angle from the firing line. I held for 400 at sent it. He dropped at the shot. Lasered at 398 yards back to the Jeep. Well today, there was a big buzzard chowing down on mr. coyote. I grabbed the Barrett and assumed the position across the Jeep. Boom. He tipped over. With my same 400 yard hold. I’m about to get bonded to this rifle and this ammo.
