So should I go out and buy a HK 416 cause a M4 can't shoot in water? When person shooting the Colt he changes to a different mask I wonder of HK did something to the Colt to make it malfunction?

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but the H/K passed because there is no gas tube for the water to get in to so there would be no pressure issues.
Of course, I was always taught to keep my wepaon out of water and tilt it rearwards to drain if it did get submerged.
I guess if you are a KampfschwimmerKommando or A Navy SEAL this would be really important.

Our own Navy SEALs and Recon Marines have been using the AR platform for decades and they didn't need a 416.
Do you really plan on having to pop up out of the water and shoot?

The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

But, what if he had a round chambered and it was tight and the water in the barrel couldn't drain out and he pulled the trigger? The gun would blow up and then the mission would be FUBAR.
