All the reporting on how bad this was going to be was fake news and it was no accident.
Watch this to the very end...keep watching after its appears to be over.

    You won't outvote the corruption.

And I swear to god if Trump and state governors did NOTHING, Trump would be being impeached right now and HALF of this forum would be saying "the government did it ON PURPOSE when THEY KNEW how dangerous it was and they did NOTHING."

If everyone simply kept going to work, going to the gym, going out to eat and the movies while their kids went to daycare and school and every state saw a thousand children die of this shit everyone here would be singing a different song and it wouldn't be about the dangers of big brother locking us down.

Last I checked, I was able to go to the grocery store, buy food, bring it home and eat it. My business is getting kicked in the pants because even though lots of people might want to buy a gun, I don't have a drive through option and PEOPLE are choosing to limit their exposure and not do an in person purchase.

But just like I have a emergency supply of guns, ammo and food for "just in case" I also have a little bit of "cash on hand" just in case. Well "just in case" is happening right now. I hope everyone did the same and it's simply a hardship and not a "might lose everything" situation.

Also I don't think anyone throwing words around like "police state" has ever seen one. I've seen the DDR, that was a police state. You felt it as soon as you checked in. China is a police state, they can't even complain on the internet without getting an official visit.

We are in danger of becoming a "nanny state", but not nearly as bad as say England. And while there is some merit to yelling "bullshit" during these times as that helps prevent us from becoming a nanny state like England, you also have to think "what would happen if we DIDN'T do it this way."

And if you really and truly have a better solution, you should be running for governor or applying for work with the CDC or something along those lines.
It's a different type of police state.
    And vaccine isnt a guarantee.

With public health and a pandemic, the 'state' has some pretty broad powers. Now are we where we are because of a pandemic or because they want to grab more power. Well, it could be both. Probably is. Between 'never let a crisis go to waste' and the desire of elites to tell us how to live the power grab is pretty clear, but probably just opportunistic.

I prefer to think that we are all running a very organized and polite Buggalooo, that we are letting them think they are controlling..

I think the real issues come in the next months, with testing, tracing, the vaccine and the right to move and travel. Can they make people wear a mask in public. I think they can. Can they say you can't go out with out a cell phone tracker.... besides the logistics of it, that is pretty hard to rationalize.

Everyone needs to help keep the infections under control because if the hospitals all get swamped in the states that are re-opening around June 15th, they are going to have a lot of ammo to keep the lockdown going on.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

I'm watching the first episode of Corona Virus 19 on Netflix and I thought "What if I trade the words Corona Virus 19 with Global Climate Change?"
That was rather enlightening as I watched the rest of the show.

I'm sure Gavin Newson and J.B Priztker would agree.

    1) We don't need to quarantine healthy people.

    2) What makes you think we'll create a vaccine? No vaccine currently exists for the common coronaviruses.

With the increased testing we see that the fatality rate is <1%. The lockdown was an overreaction from the beginning, and it's time to end it.

Social distancing and quarantine likely didn't do a damn thing other than destroy lives and the economy.

This is all coming from someone who has directly cared for critically ill COVID patients.

First right off the get go, I think the government totally over reacted.

Now I will say in the governments defense the "experts" we going from the modeling that came out of the University of Washington, 100% bought and paid for by Bill Gates.

I agree with SteyrAUG, if President Trump didn't respond like he did and we started racking up tens of thousands of dead, he would be impeached for real this time.

I also go well beyond Prager, Democrats are the biggest threat to the future of the USA.

So in closing I will say, I think the Federal government did the best they could with faulty data, that came from Gates. But the time has come to open up the country.

If governors want to keep Americans locked down then revolt, open your stores all together. They cant arrest everyone.

The problem with the governments isn't their faulty data...it's their developing propensity for grabbing and abusing power that does not and never has been their's in the first place. Lately they've been putting this propensity on full display.

But is that because they weren't at risk or because of preventative measures?

NY is working on 20,000+ dead, it's not like that's some kind of hoax. Those people are dead.
