Does anyone else see a problem with this?

That’s the big question. What are they going to do with the information from the testing. My gut thought is that they would just have you home quarantine. Maybe make you put something on your phone to track you to make sure you stay, since most people won’t leave home without their phones anyways. I kind of doubt it but they could put an ankle bracelet on you. Of course the absolute optimal would be putting you on the train for some facility.

I now see many locations in the country that cause me concern. You have a few governors, a few mayors, that have gone power hungry. But in a lot of places the people are resisting.

Took a civil disobedience turn, I can't think of a single instance when obeying decrees lead to the repeal of those decrees.

If blacks hadn't sat where they wanted on buses and at the lunch counter they would still be standing at the back of the bus, getting their food out back, and drinking from the dipper in a bucket.

Nor are anti 2nd amendment laws driven by anything other than the desire of statists for control.

Same screw up, same town, same chief, but one is an oops tragedy while the other is a "reason" to trample liberties and criminal.

So, if a parent leaves a gun accessable to what are essentially unsupervised toddlers, it all about a "fascination with handguns?
This is so stupid, that if you believe this was a "Gun Issue" and not child endangerment, you really have a problem and might want to re-evaluate your parenting skills.
Just like the House and Senate stay home because "It's dangerous out there" while you ask a HS Senior to ring up your groceries.

Sounds like a couple of worthless low life’s have blood on their hands. The governor didn’t shoot the security guard just like gun companies aren’t responsible for mass shootings. This is no endorsement of her policies but let’s stay rational here.

If I read the article correctly and it's accurate, the shooting was not from the people trying to enter the store but two men who came afterwards because they disrespected the woman trying to enter without a mask.

Just from the description of the incident and the language used it really sounds to me like this is a cultural issue and not something to blame on the governor independent of whether the governor's policy is right or wrong.

IE: This same type of thing occurs on a regular basis even without covid to blame.

If you are equating racial seating charts with face mask requirements, you have a serious logic problem. I passed this by a few people before posting it, and everyone looked at me like I was a talking monkey when I asked if blacks being sat at the back of the bus was equivalent to having to wear a mask in public during a pandemic. Bat (virus) crap crazy.

Focus on the big picture of stopping the spread so that they can't use this to jam more crap down at us. I swear to God that Libertarianism is just a smoke screen for anti-social mouth breathers.

Do stupid stuff and we'll have New Yorks all over the place and we'll be shut down for months. Prove them wrong by physical distancing and keeping the spread down. I always thought that Trump was going to be the one to self-torpedo his second term, but it is his nominal followers that going to hand the win to the dems by default.

This is simple kindergarten level stuff. But like I've said before, the stupid isn't linked closely enough with the dying. It's like a Darwin Challenge, but someone else has to pay the bill. Wash your hands, keep away from strangers and wear a mask in public.

The whole mask thing takes away from the real issue about the closing of the economy, our gov telling people not to pay their rent because they can't be evicted- and the big question, when they start doing widespread testing, what exactly are they going to do with the information? Those are the real issues.
