We can continue to kill our economy and feel a greater pain from all of this or just go back to normal and feel the pain quicker and with less cumulative and severe pain overall.

Herd immunity is the only way to stop this shit. the genie is out of the bottle , pandora is out of the box, no going back. Unless everyone has the ability to grow their own food, make their pwn TP and make their own booze- like every single person in the entire world that is- for a full year to get rid of this shit, then we just have to deal with the hand we are dealt.

The quicker we feel the pain, the quicker we will be done with it.

The longer we slow things, the more chance we have for mutations to occur and this thing just keeps burning away.

People gonna die no matter what, and that sucks donkey balls. But what we are doing is not going to stop that, it's just going to insure that more people are at risk for dying from suicide, malnutrition, etc from a poor economy. It will insure that more people get on and stay on the .gov dole and it will insure more people are willing to give up their rights for some perceived safety.

Our best bet would be to totally shut off China, 100% shut them down from trade or business dealings with US, and put pressure eon our allies to do the same or lose our Military support and funding. Then let this shit burn through and get us herd immunity ASAP.

There will not be a vaccine. There will not be a cure. We gotta deal with this shit by surviving it the old fashioned way. Period. Tough nuts. Move on.

I’m with FMCDH. It’s a minor inconvenience at most and I hardly see how this is a further threat to our freedoms. It certainly is not even close to a parallel of 30 round magazine bans or any sort of gun control and it is so far from racial discrimination I’m not even sure how one makes that massive jump.

What a ridiculous comparison. So 300+ Million Americans are all typhoid Mary's? Right now 1.4% of all those tested at the COVID test site I work at come back positive. That isn't 1.4% of the population that is 1.4% of the highest risk patients or those showing symptoms that are swabbed. You do realize the mask won't protect you. Stop feeding the hysteria.
