Totally opposite here. Our jail is at 1/3 the population we used to have for the past 25 years. 320 beds usually hovered around 350 occupants, 115 in there now. Kicked out all the drugies, burglars, domesticaters, child supporters, etc. Guess what they are out there stealing and drugging again and we can't arrest them due to possible exposure. Don't write tickets, or do proactive things, keep your distance and take most of the reports over the phone. Going to be a lot of unsolved burglaries and thefts taken over the phone.

Ah the nra aka not really activist.
I live in cali so no matter what, we are ****ed. Cause it's a super majority anti 2a.

The reason we will loose our 2a is, because there isnt enough 2a supporters.

They are doing a good job of keeping it off the media (generally).

Look at the last 10 to 20yrs. Yes some pro 2a dog kibbles were thrown in our favor. But overall, it has gotten worse

The shitty part are the casual gun owners wants more rules and regulations. And the worst are the gun enthusiasts who doesnt mind some rules. Which those "some gun rules" turn into a lot of gun rules be thrown at us sort of speak.

I think there are a few here who genuinely believe Constitutional freedoms have been suspended.

I think everyone is annoyed that the government is doing something but we aren't sure it's the most constructive and productive thing to do. But I also don't think many are seriously considering the alternative consequences and I doubt anyone here has a better idea of how to respond to something like this without making it worse one way or the other.

Maybe people could be smart and not irresponsibly congregate and wear masks when needed. Stop the spread and the legal authority to take action to stop the spread isn't needed. Our side should be the ones putting pressure on people to act appropriately. The less spread, the less legal authority for interference.

The actions should be taken at the lowest level of govt possible- city or county, state is actually almost too big in most cases.

No right in the Constitution is absolute. You don't like an action, take it to court. That is why the restrictions need to be as local as possible because that increases the diversity of actions that can be taken under scrutiny and deemed to be rationally based or not defendable.

Stop with the logic, experience, and examples....
I have a link. But all u have to do is type that in. The event 201, "simulation" of a plandemic, they have it on John's Hopkins university .
Bro if u want to educate u have to skim through it at least lol

So I'm guessing you do not know what the "sporter clause" is.

I tried looking it up. But does it have to do about Goa suing to repeal the full auto ban?

Why would the NRA want to get rid of one of their biggest cash cows that they supported?

I was and am annoyed that part of my life was affected by this. I have not been inconvenienced much at all. The annoying part is that I don't get to shoot my 3gun matches, I really like to do that, but I think I'll make it. Money hasn't been a problem at all since most of my money comes from my retirement vehicles. I am still working my part time job, since it's considered essential. And I put on hold my move to Idaho. All and all, things aren't that bad. My problem with this whole thing is that from the beginning of this and the lock down I thought it would be devastating to millions of people financially. Millions of people don't have a couple of hundred grand sitting in the bank to tide them over for 3 months (and Newson is talking about more months). All the while vile people like Nancy Pelosi are still getting paid. I guess I should be thankful that so many still have jobs at all. Do we really have to destroy the village to save it. And now in LA county they release actual criminals but go after surfers...it make my head hurt.
