In terms of leverage, shaving 0.6 oz from the muzzle will be much more noticeable than shaving 0.6 oz off your pistol grip. So my focus has always been "up-front" (barrel and handguard) first, then receiver / bolt next, if I want to cut weight. But $50 bucks isn't a lot to some people, so that's another way to look at perspective. I mean, a Proof Research barrel is how much???
