Eotech G33 Tan

I'm new to the world of Eotech...always been an aimpoint guy but figured why not give these a shot. I bought a G33 Tan, did the older version of these come in a "tan" anodizing and the new version tan cerakote? Just trying to understand the evolution of the product and avoid fakes etc..

Yes they did.
I am not sure what year Eotech started making the G33 in tan but it was 5+ yrs ago.

The “tanodized” is no longer produced and demand a extremely premium price. Even used and abused go for over $1000.

Its a fashion statement but doesn’t do anything better or different than the new painted version.

I have a g33 behind my Aimpoints too. Without the spacer is just about perfect.
