    +1. That’s what I did, well made part too. I think some “improvements” are change for the sake of change.

    I've done it to a few of mine just using the belt sander on the bench. Nothing nice, just quick and dirty, and it looks and works fine.

    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.
