And he still could have been jogging.

Not seen it here, but one of the claims I have read levied against him in other venues was he was too far away from home to have been jogging and that distance was allegedly 2 miles.
Yeah that is extremely flimsy. I am a Broker. We have 5 builders at my company. Our houses are left open until they are near completion. People go in and out of them all the time to walk through. Some people want to see how they look for a potential purchase. Some people are just nosey. Others are just wasting time. Hell I used to do it all the time.

Maybe he was looking to be up to no good. The problem there is that it still doesn't justify a couple guys mounting up and chasing him down like they did. Once that happened they became the aggressors and anything that happened comes back on them.

    Tatum vid was way better.

Colion is stepping out for Youtube dollars. Quote... "When I watch the video ..... and he hadn't committed a crime" 03:05 of video above. How does he know that? He's right about a lot of other things he mentions in the video but it has little to do with this encounter.

I haven't seen much video. Maybe there is more out there but the fact a 3rd party has a "cell phone" video. A dash cam I can believe. Cell phone seems incredibly lucky.

The other thing I heard someone say was that the truck pulled past the jogger to stop in the road and stand waiting with a shotgun. Oh and while that happens the videographer shows up too. That really seems suspicious.

Finally you have a double yellow line road on a curve with multiple driveways and the suspected criminal running towards your barricade. WTF!
That whole thing is just so wrong. Most people would have pulled off the road. Shoulder, driveway, something. No one blocks rural roads on a curve. So I do agree with Colion there. A pickup truck blocking the road and the occupants outside with guns is a sign that they have taken charge of the location. They are now basically acting as LEO. They are controlling public roads with arms in hand.

It looks really bad to me. Citizens arrest.... you can expect to have that one written off the books now.

So the guy is dead because he resembled someone. It looks like to me he tried to keep jogging around the side of the truck into the driveway. It --seems-- like, as I can't see it, but it seems like the shotgun gun guy might have closed the gap on him as he did so. Another unnecessary confrontational move.

It just looks like cold blooded murder to me. So if you steal some chicken eggs in GA and you resemble another criminal the citizens can arm up, confront you, and if you don't play their game, they can kill you? Let's hope that's not where we are now.

chip, chip, chip away at the 2A. Aside from this situation those two guys need to go to jail for a couple of years just for general stupidity and lose their gun rights forever. This is Liberal gold.

Problem: Individual resembles crime spree suspect.
    Solution: Call Police
--- Rural: Video with cell phone.
    ----- Don't have a camera: He's on foot, you have a truck.

How is this remotely a sling weapons and confront situation?

Guy who took the video has been arrested as well. He was a friend of the shooters apparently and was part of their little posse.

Maybe he drove to an area he enjoyed jogging, parked and went for a run, but it was his family claimed he was out for a jog.

I just saw this picture pop up on FB. It is reported to be the father.

I will say it looks a lot like him. However I have never had a great eye for this sort of thing. Thoughts? Does it look like him to anyone?

    A few things.

    1. People go in new builds under construction all the time like Kwels said above.

    2. Here in AZ if I wanted to charge someone for doing so I'd be either charging 2nd or 3rd degree trespassing. It kinda fits both. Both are low level misdemeanors. And unless there were some prior history or other circumstances involved, I don't think any prosecutor would even take the case.

    3. If you are going to use the defense that you saw him on video committing a burglary several days prior, you better hope that's some 4k quality video and Arbery walked by the camera and flashed his drivers license at it. Even then I still see charges being pressed against the shooter though I could see it dropping to some sort of manslaughter.

    Now that I can believe.

Sounds like a trap. Cameraman was also the "nope, you are not coming back this way either" part of the story.

If that's the case then it's premeditated. If they were not acting together then there was some serious coincidental action going on that day.
