The two perps said they armed themselves and engaged in hunting down a man they saw running and decided was a criminal, though they did not see him commit a crime.
This is an amazingly straight forward part of this whole ordeal.

Well you have to kind of admit, as soon as we have a full belly and shelter, the human condition seems to look for someone to hate.

Which also has no impact on whether he was or was or was not, on their surveillance cam and that's what set them off to go looking for him. If they have vid of him on their cam, that's a game changer as far as the jogging claim. Whether legal to go after him I don't know. I read he was 12 miles from his home. That's one hell of a jog. Maybe he drove to an area he enjoyed jogging, parked and went for a run, but it was his family claimed he was out for a jog.

And he still could have been jogging.
Not seen it here, but one of the claims I have read levied against him in other venues was he was too far away from home to have been jogging and that distance was allegedly 2 miles.
