    I ordered a bolt tool, as well as other various small parts from Brownells. I'll grab the case gauges when the correct ones come in stock. Thinking back, I've never replaced or even stocked some of the various springs that are coming due for replacement, but having 10k rounds on the lower means it's time to start looking at maintenance.

    While the AMU has its own Magnaflux-type non-destructive inspection bay it's the shooter's responsibility to maintain his round count and individual bolt inspection. We did not do routine bolt inspections.

    generally, w/ milspec chambers the go/nogo guage as precision (match/DMR/sniper) is not a worry. In precision guns it is a different story. In duty/combat (especial FA) 5000 rds max for swap out. close inspection of lugs, face, extractor required
